The environment includes one large open plan classroom, and a large outdoor garden, staffed by a team of qualified personnel, managed by the Depute Head and a team which includes an Early Year Officer and three Early Years Practitioners. We plan an educational programme of PLAY activities based on key aspects of children’s development and learning.

Young children learn best when they are actively involved and enjoying themselves. Play activities emphasise early literacy and numeracy as well as health and wellbeing, bringing together all the aspects of the Early Years Curriculum in an enjoyable way.

Children learn environmental studies with great enthusiasm because they are actively involved in our wonderful outdoor area which includes a vegetable allotment.
